Equipping Parents and Children

At West Hills, we want each person to be connected and know no matter where each are on their spiritual journey, we’re here to help.

Our desire is to build a ministry that pours not only into the students, but into their families as well. We seek to bring students into a deeper knowledge of who Christ is, and his immense love for them. In teaching biblical truths to students in practical, meaningful, and memorable ways, our hope is that students would leave with a desire to grow in their faith, their community, and in mission to make disciples for Christ.

In addition, we want to support parents looking for encouragement on your journey in discipling your children. We strive to provide resources for family study to encourage application of teaching during classes. We will also provide practical tips and thoughts for family study and resources of books that might be helpful or encouraging to read.

The Gospel Project – “The Big Picture of God’s Story”

(from the Gospel Project): “The Gospel Project® for Kids immerses kids and preschoolers in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Ultimately, the gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel. Through The Gospel Project® for Kids, kids and preschoolers will understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God’s story of redemption.”
